Part of the celebrity lifestyle is travel. If stars aren’t plane hopping for work, then they usually love to jet off for some downtime. Touring the world for work or play has taught these celebs some awesome travel tips.

Wolfgang Puck gave the best tip by insisting, “Never stay at hotel that doesn’t have good coffee.”

Kelly Osbourne – “I try to book hotels that have a gym open 24 hours. Since I am usually traveling for work, I never know when I can hit the gym.”

Lisa Ling – “(Go to) Almaty, Kazakhstan. It’s like a future Swiss Alps. It has the potential to be an extraordinary ski resort. It is a city with beautiful mountainsides.”

Ted Allen – “I always bring noise-canceling headphones, a couple of granola bars, in case we’re stuck on the tarmac, and about 12 different cables that will let me plug my computer into whatever receptacle I’ll need. I also always bring a little pharmacy with me, especially for overseas trips. I bring Ambien, aspirin, decongestant and some hand wipes.”

Kristen Bell – ” I Ziploc-bag all of my makeup.”

Martha Stewart – “Many luggage locks are forbidden under security regulations. I tie the zipper pull tags on my suitcase together with a piece of waxed twine. That way, I can tell if it has been opened.”

Mike Rowe: “Always pack less than you think you need.”

Enrique Iglesias – “I travel with Lysol and spray it all over the bathroom.”

Sean John Combs – “Hydrate. I used to laugh about this, but it helps. You might have to run to the bathroom a couple of times though.”

Wolfgang Puck – “London has really great food now, but people still joke about bad English food. It’s true that a long time ago, you had to eat in an old-style French restaurant to get a decent meal. But over the last 10 years, they’ve had a renaissance. It’s really fun to go and eat there.

Sean Astin – “Look up. It might sound like a simple thing to say, but don’t have your face in a map or your phone or your stuff. I think most people get to wherever they think they need to get to and then they look up.”

Seth Rogan – “Try not to go to the same place over and over.”

Kristin Chenoweth – “Surprises in life are too few and far between! You can’t plan everything!”

I am not a celebrity by any means, but travel is my passion, my job and its important to share the world with those I love. My tip, is to find good local cuisine. An amazing way to absorb the culture is to try the food. Don’t fall into the chain restaurants and lure of chicken fingers. Step outside your comfort zone and ask the locals on the street. The concierge will have tips, but sometimes they get kickbacks, so ask around.
