Natural Motion Sickness Remedy for Motion Sickness

If your motion sickness can’t be curbed with over the counter drugs, try ginger pills. Make sure you find the pure ginger capsules, to avoid any reactions with other herbs. The University of Maryland Medical Center advises taking 250 milligrams of ginger three times a day, as needed for motion sickness. If your motion sickness victim is younger or can’t swallow pills, dissolve a capsule of ginger powder in some water.

Cool Down Motion Sickness Relief

A cool damp washcloth (or paper towels in a pinch) placed on the forehead and back of the neck will work wonders at making you more comfortable.

Max Levine, an associate professor of psychology at Siena College, found that music provided a distraction for those suffering from motion sickness. Turn on some soothing tunes, and focus on the sweet music.

Keeping your eyes focused on a fix point. Keeping your gaze on something stationary, even if you are moving, will trick your brain into syncing with inner ear and make your body think you aren’t moving.
