If you’re a fan of visiting your favorite show’s scenery and settings, the new ‘Game of Thrones’ filming location for season 7 of GOT will be in Spain! The cast and crew of the hit HBO series will be hitting the beaches in the Basque Country in October.

No Spoilers, Please

Not too many details were shared in order to protect the show’s secrets and avoid spoilers for the next season of ‘Game of Thrones.’ However, Muriola Beach in Barrika will be the GOT hotspot for season 7. No confirmation of which actors or even which plotline will be filmed near the Bilbao location. The town mayor, Robert Muñoz told El Correo, only confirmed the series will be using the gorgeous scenery of Spain in the upcoming season of GOT. Robert only stated season 7 of ‘Game of Thrones’ is “shrouded in mystery.”

Muriola Beach

Zumaia and Bermeo were previously announced as filming locations, and Muriola Beach joins the area next month. Filming will start on October 26 in Itzurun Beach, and the Muriola Beach location will follow shortly after. No exact dates were given, but keep your eye out for your favorite ‘Game of Thrones’ characters.
