Spring is in the air and Easter is right around the corner. It has been a brutal winter, and everyone in our house has literally been counting down the days until warmer weather arrives, the birds start chirping, the flowers begin to bloom, and of course the Easter Bunny comes hopping to our house with a basket full of treats and toys.
Holidays are a huge deal in our home all year round, and Easter is especially exciting because it means that winter is officially in the rearview mirror and summer is right around the corner.
After a long, chilly, and dreary winter, I couldn’t wait any longer to begin decorating our home for Easter and spring. Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang are a huge part of every holiday in our family, my granddaughter and nephew absolutely adore Snoopy, just like my daughter did and I did. Snoopy creates a great way for all of the generations to connect during the holidays, young and old.
“It’s The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown” has been a family favorite in our house for decades, and we have watched it together every year for longer than I can count. The series debuted in 1974 and is aired nearly every year on ABC, you can also purchase the DVD. The Peanuts gang I sup to their usual shenanigans and hilarious misconceptions about holiday traditions. Spoiler alert: Snoopy is the Easter Beagle!
So, when I received a package from Peanuts, I couldn’t wait to break out the festive decorations and my granddaughter had a blast with the Peanuts Easter toys.
The Easter Beagle Porch Greeter will make the perfect addition to any front porch, and also a great conversation piece when you have guests over. I love passing by it every time I return home, the bright cheery colors put a bounce in everyone’s step! The motivational tin is also a great addition to your spring décor, what says “Happy Spring” any better than a cheery sign with a member of the Peanuts gang?
Your kids are guaranteed to go nuts over It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown Coloring Kit, and a Charlie Brown or Lucy FunkoPop! Collectible. The coloring kit kept my granddaughter busy for hours, and really got her in the Easter spirit. Ever since she began coloring, she has been asking me non-stop when “Easter Beagle” will be on TV and if it is time to dye Easter eggs yet.
Of course, the coloring kit and FunkoPop collectible would also make great Easter basket stuffers for your little ones, if you can stand to wait until Easter morning to see their little faces light up. The FunkoPop collectibles are always a hit, for kids and those of us who are kids at heart. And, they’re also a great way to fill up space in Easter baskets so you don’t feel obligated to fill them with so much candy!
Our friends at Peanuts have also provided a Peanuts Easter package for us to give away to one lucky reader.
