Located in The Heart Of Nashville
Located in the heart of Nashville, Soundwaves is a fun, family-friendly option for guests staying at the iconic Gaylord Opryland Resort. But what makes the facility so unique is that there’s plenty of fun to be had for the kids, but can also be enjoyed by the adult crowd, too.
The indoor water experience features an adults-only infinity pool, bar, and seating on the third floor. In addition, the outdoor water experience includes an adults-only flatwater pool area. These features are accessible only to ages 18 and up. This means that adults of all ages along with moms and dads can enjoy a kid-free afternoon by celebrating a special occasion that can both be an afternoon full of chill or thrill.
Attraction Has Over 111,000 Of Indoor Water Park
The aesthetics inside SoundWaves is clean and modern with a great mixture of water, flora, and fauna that contribute to a garden-like feel. More than 4,000 potted plants line the walls of the indoor water park. The fun, meanwhile, has no limits and no boundaries. The indoor attraction has over 111,000 square feet of upscale water activities, including a multi-slide tower, a FlowRider (double indoor surfing), rapid and lazy rivers and so much more. There’s also an activity pool with rock climbing and an obstacle course.
Make Sure To Reserve the SoundWaves Water Experience Package
But this is what you have to keep in mind: the only guaranteed access to the water attraction is reserving the SoundWaves Water Experience package. With that being said, specific day passes may be offered based on availability to other overnight hotel guests on a limited, first-come, first served basis. Gaylord Opryland guests are encouraged to check availability at the SoundWaves Magnolia Desk during their stay.

An outdoor section under construction will come this summer, completing the $90 million investment designed to draw more guests to the 2,888-room hotel, shopping, and entertainment complex. There will be a giant outdoor pool that will feature a LED movie screen. For now, only hotel guests who purchase admission to the water park are admitted, but discounts for room-and-park tickets are available for Davidson County residents.
