La Ciambella

Located near the Parthenon, La Ciambella is an outstanding Italian restaurant that rests on the ruins of Terme di Agrippa, which is visible through the floor panels. Don’t hesitate to indulge in their 4-course meals that will leave your belly warm and satisfied. They also have many specialty wines that will accompany the Italian dishes wonderfully.

Colline Emiliane

Family owned and operated by the Latini family, visitors have enjoyed the Colline Emiliane since 1931. They serve all your favorite Roman comfort foods and amazing desserts that are created daily with the freshest of ingredients. Their pasta is stretched by hand. If that isn’t love, we don’t know what is. The Colline Emiliane has a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff while receiving high praise from many food critics.

La Tavernaccia

If you’re looking to fill a chair in one of Rome’s most sought after seats during dinnertime, look no further than the La Tavernaccia. This family-owned restaurant is always extremely busy, so make sure you get reservations ahead of time.

You’ll eat like a king there, as food is delivered one course after another. Their juicy meats combined with their mouth-watering homemade flavorful kinds of pasta will wash down smoothly with a bottle of their finest wine.

Antica Norcineria lacozzilli

While the Antica Norcineria Iacozzilli may not be a restaurant, this Italian deli market has some of the most wonderful foods in the city. It receives high praise and is most notable for its porchetta, which is seasoned with salt and rosemary. You won’t want to miss out on some of their other meats and cheeses also.

Trattoria Da Cesare al Casaletto

Many would argue that the Trattoria Da Cesare al Casaletto is Rome’s best trattoria, and it would be hard to argue against that. Even to Roman standards, their meals are outstanding, with plates filled with goodness in every bite.
