American Cruise Lines offers river cruises with fleet of 17 small ships, sailing exclusively on US rivers and coastlines. Each ship can accommodate 100-180 guests, making for an intimate experience. Moreover, the cruise line boasts personalized service with open seating and no reservations required for onboard dining. Moreover, dishes are served to order, due to the smaller number of guests.

Each ship features lounges, including seats offering views of the rivers and shores while sailing. The cruise ships also feature sun decks, offering 360-degree views. Moreover, every ship features outward-facing staterooms with a furnished balcony.

Speaking of its ships on its website, the cruise line says they “bring you to the best of America, up close to places of natural beauty, cultural and historical interest,” adding:

And, with all departure ports in the US, you leave your passport (and worries) at home. With a smaller amount of guests onboard, we never overwhelm the local communities visited.
