Disney Adventure sets sail to Singapore in 2025
Fans of Disney and everything it represents will be able to set the course for an adventure in 2025. The seventh cruise ship for the Disney Cruise Line has just been named Disney Adventure by the cruise line’s president Thomas Mazloum. He announced the name of the new Singapore-bound cruise ship while attending the Destination D23 Event at Walt Disney World.
About Disney Cruise Line’s latest cruise ship
When Disney Adventure is ready to set sail, it will take families on a voyage of adventure, fantasy and discovery. Moreover, as with the other cruise ships, passengers will experience Disney entertainment, guest service and great dining.
Even better, the Disney Adventure cruise ship’s home port will be Singapore for at least five years from 2025, bringing more families to enjoy this exciting destination.
About the new cruise ship
It is expected that the construction of the 208,000-gross-ton ship Disney Adventure to be completed at the MV Werften shipyard in Wismar, Germany, under the management of Meyer Werft.
Towards the end of last year, Disney Cruise Line acquired the formerly named ship, Global Dream. This came after Dream Cruises in Hong Kong filed for bankruptcy. Meanwhile, the still-under-construction cruise ship will be the largest of its kind by passenger volume.
While currently there is no exact timeline for when the new cruise ship sails, reports have stated that its maiden voyage is expected to be sometime in 2025. However, according to WDW News Today, rumors say it could be delayed until 2026.
As soon as there is more news about Disney’s latest addition to its fleet we will let you know.
