The new partnership comes as response to increased traveler demand from American travelers, wanting to visit Kenya and other nearby destinations. Meanwhile, Kenya is one of Africa’s leading tourist destinations and it has plenty to offer.

Visiting Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi offers an eye-opening chance to see how people in the big city live and the contrasts between those that have and those living in the slums.

Meanwhile, without leaving the big city, travelers can experience the wildlife of Kenya by finding out more about the rehabilitation of orphaned baby elephants and the giraffe conservation program.

For those who loved the movie, Out of Africa, a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum is a must, set in the beautiful Ngong Hills.

When seeking safari adventure, there are many options available for accommodations. For those on a budget, tent camping is a must, while those seeking luxury can stay at luxurious safari lodges. Whichever they choose, Americans can have a true safari adventure, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the abundant wildlife.

One of the best locations for a safari adventure is Amboseli National Park, where visitors can watch the giraffes and elephants with the backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is around a four-hour drive from Nairobi, close to the border with Tanzania.

For those who don’t have long in Nairobi, a great safari option is located just four miles outside the city’s limits at the Nairobi National Park. Here, the Big Five are just waiting to be seen, including the elephant, lion, leopard, Cape buffalo and rhinoceros.

Besides seeing the famous Big Five of African wildlife, Kenya also offers incredible beach locations. Among the best is the beautiful Diani Beach, or the trendy Mombasa, Watamu and Malindi locations.

Why visit Kenya now?

The new partnership between Delta Air Lines and Kenya Airlines comes at an ideal time for travelers seeking a new adventure in the fall. In Kenya, that time of year offers ideal weather, not too hot or cold, and with little chance of rain. This allows visitors to see Kenya at its best before the weather switches over to summer heat.

Meanwhile, the Great Wildebeest Migration is a huge draw. This unique event sees thousands of wildebeest galloping across the Masai Mara. Visitors can even enjoy the spectacle from the air in a hot air balloon at sunrise – definitely, memories to keep forever.

However, October is also a great time to visit, as the shoulder season sees fewer crowds and lower prices. It is also much easier to spot the wildlife without a queue of other safari vehicles in the way.

Now Delta Air Lines is offering the chance to fly nonstop to Kenya, what better time to start planning that big safari trip?
