It was recently reported that JW Marriott had opened a new luxury hotel in Madrid, Spain. Now, the news is that the hospitality giant has opened its first luxurious safari property in beautiful Kenya. Read on to find out more about the new JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge, nestled in a beautiful national park in Kenya.

Introducing JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge

The new offering from Marriott Hotels & Resorts is a luxurious safari hotel in Masai Mara National Reserve. This new hotel comes swiftly on the news of its first property in Madrid, Spain and is a great step into safari tourism in Kenya.

According to the press release, the new JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge is one of several top new hotels opening in 2023.  The hotel is located within Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve and offers a true safari experience, where guests can view lions, leopards, elephants, rhinoceros and more.

Meanwhile, this reserve includes the Serengeti National Park where visitors can experience an amazing natural event between June and September each year. The Great Wildebeest Migration is considered one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and guests at the hotel can experience it.

Besides wildlife, guests at the new JW Marriott hotel can experience spa and wellness services, restaurants serving the best cuisine and more with an all-inclusive stay. Meanwhile, rates start at $1,450 per person, per night and bookings are already open.

The new JW Marriott Masai Mara Lodge offers unique décor to suit its location. The resort offers 20 luxury private tents, including a honeymoon tent with a private plunge pool. Meanwhile, it also offers interconnecting suites, perfect for families of children over the age of six.

Around the resort, guests can find specially designed spaces for relaxation, including the Fig Tree Lounge and the Adventure Lounge. Here they will find comfortable seating and books to read. Alternatively, guests can get together on the Cultural Deck, complete with a fire pit.

Moreover, Masai Mara Lodge offers a true wellness experience, including the Spa by JW, offering special treatments with locally inspired therapies. Guests can experience treatments in their tented suite, accompanied by the sounds of the wilderness.

The Sarabi Restaurant offers indoor and alfresco fine dining, where guests can order a fresh “Bush Breakfast” while gazing at the amazing views over the savannah. For a refreshing cocktail, visitors can head to the Tree Lounge.

How do you get to the resort?
