Celestyal Cruises Launches F1 Grand Prix Arabian Gulf Cruises

Boutique cruise line Celestyal Cruises specializes in sailing around the Greek Isles and is now offering something exciting and new. Guests onboard one of its new Arabian Gulf itineraries this year will have access to the Qatar and Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix races. Read on to find out more about this exciting new development from Celestyal Cruises.

Celestyal Cruises to Qatar and Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix races

The cruise line has previously specialized in cruises around the Greek Isles and is now offering something new and exciting. Guests who book one of its new Arabian Gulf itineraries this year will have access to the Qatar and Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix races.

In January, Celestyal Cruises announced its expansion into the Middle East with new itineraries. Fast forward to now, and due to high demand, the cruise line is adding more departures for its Adriatic and Arabian itineraries.

Arabian Gulf itineraries on Celestyal Journey

The Arabian Gulf cruises are onboard the Celestyal Journey, which hosts up to 1,260 guests. Among the amenities are an entire deck dedicated to health and wellness, seven restaurants, eight bars, two pools and a fitness center. Guests can choose from interior staterooms to suites, all of which accommodate 2-4 passengers, depending on the configuration.

Meanwhile, the new itineraries mark the first time the cruise line offers sailings outside of summer. The Arabian Gulf season runs from November 2024, through March, 2025. The itineraries will pick up again in November 2025 through March 2026.

F1 Grand Prix itineraries in 2024

Three itineraries currently offer access to the 2024 Abu Dhabi or Qatar Grand Prix events. The fare includes grandstand tickets while supplies last. Moreover, bookings are available now through May 31, 2024.

The Desert Days & Qatar Grand Prix itinerary launches on November 25, offering two days in Dubai. It also includes visits to Khasab in Oman, Abu Dhabi and Doha before heading back to Dubai. The seven-night itinerary starts at $999 per person in double occupancy and includes three days in Doha, Qatar with daily access to Grand Prix events.

The Desert Days & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix itinerary sails on December 2 for an eight-day cruise roundtrip from Dubai. Guests will visit Khasab, Sir Bani Yas Island and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. Meanwhile, the itinerary includes three days in Abu Dhabi with full access to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix each day. Moreover, this includes practice races, qualifiers and the official Race Day. This itinerary starts at $999 per person, double occupancy.

Last, but by no means least, the third, larger itinerary offers an opportunity not to be missed by race lovers. The Desert Days & Qatar and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix cruise sails on November 25 and combines both previous itineraries. It offers 14 nights, with three days in Doha and three days in Abu Dhabi, allowing guests to enjoy both Grand Prix competitions. This itinerary starts at $1,709 per person in double occupancy.

Other cruises to the Arabian Gulf

Celestyal Cruises has also launched a selection of new, shorter three-night and four-night Desert Days sailings. These were added due to popular demand for the region, but neither of these includes the Grand Prix offer.

The three-night Desert Days cruise departs on November 15, November 22, December 13, December 20 and December 27. The cruise departs from Abu Dhabi, heads to Doha and ends in Dubai.

Meanwhile, the Celestyal Cruises four-night Desert Days itinerary includes an overnight in Dubai, plus visits to Khasab, Sir Bani Yas Island and Abu Dhabi. This cruise sets sail on November 11, November 18, December 9, December 16, December 23, and December 30, 2024. Moreover, the sailing departs on January 6, February 17, February 24 and March 3, 2025.
