To enjoy some culture, a visit to the Royal Opera House Muscat is a treat, located in the Shati Al-Qurm district of the city. Moreover, the Portuguese were involved in Oman’s past and visitors can still explore the ancient Portuguese Forts of Mirani and Jalali, alongside the Al Alam Palace.
