Summer is officially over – and that means my absolute favorite time of year is here … Autumn! The kids have went back to school, the leaves are turning a beautiful orange, the heat wave is over – and it is time to gear up for Halloween and Thanksgiving! As you all know by now, my family is absolutely obsessed with Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang – so much so that we have been counting down the days until the premiere of the “The Peanuts Movie,” which just so happens to be less than a month away. Now, you can celebrate the 3D Peanuts Movie and Halloween with the Peanuts fall collection at Oriental Trading!

The first ever 3D Peanuts Movie featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang is set to hit movie theaters on November 6th 2015, just in time for the 65th anniversary of the iconic cartoon and comic strip. Seriously, we have been counting down the days until the big release date for months now! I honestly think that the kids might be more excited for the trip to the movie theaters to see Snoopy in 3D than they are for trick-or-treating at this point.

Peanuts Party

Every year we have a little Halloween party at our house for all of the kids, everyone in my family meets up at my house and helps the kids get their costumes on – and then we all hit the town together and trick or treat in a big group. I was browsing my favorite party supply website – Oriental Trade – to get a few things for our little Halloween party, and I realized that they now have a Peanuts Fall collection (just in time for the premiere of “The Peanuts Movie!”). So, we are having a Peanuts themed Halloween party, and I am SO excited.

Oriental Trade has Peanuts Themed Halloween decorations – which include adorable paper cups, plates, and napkins. I also got some Peanuts sippy cups for the smaller kids so I don’t have to worry about having fruit punch spilled all over the carpet. There also are some great Halloween tote bags to take trick or treating – with of course Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Linus printed on them. When the package came in the mail, I didn’t think I was going to be able to convince the kids to wait until Halloween to break out the party supplies. I actually let them hang up the Peanuts Halloween lanterns a few weeks early. And, I got them some great Peanuts themed craft kits to make their own Halloween party decorations.

Craft Corner With Charlie Brown

One of my favorite parts of the Oriental Trade Peanuts collection is the craft corner. You can actually order plain white canvas tote bags with pictures of Charlie Brown and the “Great Pumpkin” on them – and the kids can color them in and design them all by themselves! Everything is so ridiculously affordable, you could buy enough party supplies to invite half of the neighborhood over for a Halloween party without breaking the budget. Prices range from $2.20 – $21.99. And, you don’t have to stop with just Halloween, the Peanuts Fall collection at Oriental Trade also includes paper cups, napkins, and plates for Thanksgiving too!
