As the event will attract many people, it is important to know the latest travel regulations for visiting Qatar following the pandemic.
Entry requirements for Qatar

Meanwhile, all visitors are required to provide a negative PCR test, taken in the last 48 hours, or a Rapid Antigen test, valid for 24 hours prior to departure. However, it is important to note that Rapid Antigen self-tests are not accepted. Negative test results are required from all travelers, regardless of age or vaccination status.
All travelers are required to register with Ehteraz, the Ministry of Public Health’s pre-registration platform, at least three days prior to arrival. They are also required to download the Ehteraz app and activate it on arrival in Qatar.
Whether attending a World Cup match or not, travelers will also be required to apply for a Hayya card from November 1, 2022, onwards. Currently, only match ticket holders can apply. Finally, travelers may have to pass through thermal screening or temperature checks on arrival in the country.
Can unvaccinated travelers visit Qatar?

While it is now considered safe to travel to Qatar, travelers are recommended to take out travel insurance. Moreover, the policy must provide sufficient medical coverage while overseas.
