Christmas is almost here, which means that New Year’s Eve isn’t that far behind it and it’s time to decide where to spend the celebration. Ringing in the New Year is a popular event and when it’s held at Universal Studios Hollywood, it is a truly magical way to see in 2024. Read on to find out what will be on offer for a truly enjoyable New Year’s Eve celebration, building up to a hopefully great 2024.

Universal Studios Hollywood and the return of New Year’s Eve celebration

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the return of its annual New Year’s Eve celebration, which this year bears the name EVE. In the 2023 to 2024 celebration, the theme park is laying on multiple dance locations to party hearty. There will also be access to select attractions and rides on December 31, with extended hours up until 2 am local time. Moreover, the theme park will be laying on a spectacular fireworks display to welcome the New Year 2024.

Access to the New Year’s celebrations is included in the theme park ticket price and the event is set to kick off at 9 pm. From that time, visitors will see a theme park transformation, while people head to designated dance party zones to celebrate the end of 2023.

Meanwhile, the party is held at several designated dance party zones, giving plenty of choice. Guests will also find some unique photo opportunities along the way. Of interest to note is a winter snowfall effect with confetti will make the celebration even better in designated areas.

Food and drink at the event

Families with foodies will find a wide choice of food and beverages available, including beer, wine, cocktails, and, of course, champagne to celebrate 2024. Guests must bear in mind that younger members of the family must show a valid photo ID to be able to purchase alcoholic drinks.

Keep that champagne handy as guests countdown to midnight to toast the New Year, while gazing at a spectacular fireworks display in the nighttime sky.

Universal Studios Hollywood festive holiday activities

Besides celebrating the upcoming New Year, guests can also participate in festive holiday activities. Among them is The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Continue the fun at Grinchmas, where party folk can enjoy a festive visit to Who-Ville and meet its beloved resident, The Grinch himself. Enjoy a visit to meet up with his faithful dog Max, as well as the Whos.

All the holiday festivities will run daily at Universal Studios Hollywood through January 1, 2024.

Bear in mind that Platinum Pass Members, valid on December 31, 2023, do not need a separate event ticket for admission to EVE.
