Close to the village of El Pilar de la Mola, La Mola Lighthouse was built in the 1880s and is a viewpoint offering panoramic views over the island and the sea. On a clear day, it is possible to see the island of Mallorca on the horizon. When up at the lighthouse, it is wonderfully quiet and you are likely to spot peregrine falcons swooping over the cliffs where they nest.
