Cunard offers the award-winning West End musical Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of)
Recently, Hallmark Channel has revived interest in Jane Austen’s popular 19th-century novel, Pride and Prejudice, with a series of movies. However, the network’s interest in Pride & Prejudice has also transferred to the West End of London and Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne.
According to McArthur, the musical is “deeply affectionate” toward the original novel, but includes several comedic elements, including karaoke. Meanwhile, it tells the story of Pride and Prejudice from the servants’ point of view. Moreover, in 2022, the musical won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
Fast forward to now, and in partnership with producer, David Pugh, the play will be offered onboard Queen Anne.
The musical will debut on a two-week cruise around the British Isles, launching on May 3 and returning on May 24. From there, the musical will be a mainstay for the rest of Queen Anne’s inaugural season.
The production is “one of the most acclaimed West End productions of recent times,” says Katie McAlister, president of Cunard in a press release.
“We always strive to surprise and delight guests with unique and enriching experiences that can only be experienced on a Cunard ship,” she added.

Moreover, 27 of the brands are enjoying their first-time partnerships with Cunard, including 886 Royal Mint, Hugo Boss and Raishma. Moreover, Garrard, the first official crown jeweler will debut its first boutique on a Cunard ship.
Classic deck games on the new Cunard ship
The game is a mix of tennis, table tennis and badminton and can be played as singles or in pairs, whether indoors or outdoors. Meanwhile, Queen Anne’s top deck will boast a state-of-the-art Pickleball court for the first time in Cunard’s history.
Moreover, the new ship will be the only one in the world where guests can master archery skills with a real bow and arrow, with the deck game offered through a new Archery GB partnership.
As a reminder, Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, launches on May 3 on an inaugural cruise around the British Isles. It sounds like its guests will truly have an enjoyable experience.
