In fact, it had been predicted that the number of Americans visiting Europe this year would be more than 55 percent of last year’s numbers. This led to crowds of travelers, paying high prices for the incredibly hot summer sun this year. However, not everyone loves a heat wave and that is why people should start planning for fall vacations in Europe. Not only is it cooler, but the beautiful fall colors and lower prices are certainly a draw. Read on to find out about cheaper plane tickets to visit these European destinations.

However, beginning in the last week of October and into November, plane tickets from the US to Lisbon are set to drop. In fact, according to Hopper, there will be lower than usual prices all through November 2023, especially if you choose a weekday to fly in and out.
Currently, a roundtrip flight from JFK to Lisbon for a week in November is slightly over $600. This is around $300 less than usual, which is definitely a bargain. Meanwhile, for those interested in the fall colors in the city, it is best to wait until the end of November, as here the leaves change later in the season.
