Frontier Airlines Offers Low-Cost New Flights To The Sun This Fall

The summer of 2023 has been a hit for the travel industry, but Frontier Airlines has a feeling travelers will be looking for the sun in the fall. Just like beach destinations were popular in the summer, they should be equally popular as the weather cools down. For this reason, the low-cost airline has announced new flights to gorgeous, sunny destinations for the fall and winter seasons.

Escape to the sun with Frontier Airlines this fall & winter

While the new flights make it easy for travelers to escape the cold weather, the great news is they can also do so at affordable prices. In fact, Frontier Airlines is celebrating its new flights by offering a sale through August 29 at prices as low as $39 one way.

With the new expansion of their offerings, travelers can head to some of the most popular places and the airline has opened online bookings through February 13, 2024, on their entire route map.

Speaking of the new routes, Daniel Shurz, Senior VP of Commercial, Frontier Airlines said:

We’re thrilled to expand our nonstop offerings across our network. Along with more routes to Florida, new service to Mexico and the Dominican Republic is also on the horizon.

As we get closer to winter, now is the time to start planning those tropical getaways. Getting there is easier and more convenient than ever thanks to Frontier’s ‘Low Fares Done Right.’

Where do the new flights go?

As travelers know that the two top destinations for Americans this year are the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Moreover, Punta Cana and Cancun are at the top of their list. However, heading to these destinations can normally be expensive, which is where Frontier Airlines comes in. The airline is planning new routes to Cancun, varying in price from $79 to $99 if you book by August 29.

Frontier’s new routes to Cancun

• Chicago (MDW) to Cancun – November 16 – Daily (subject to government approval)
• Detroit to Cancun – November 16 – Daily
• Minneapolis to Cancun – November 16 – Daily

New routes to the Dominican Republic

While Cancun is always popular with Americans, so too is the Dominican Republic. However, while Frontier has no new routes to Punta Cana, they do have new routes to Santo Domingo close by for prices as low as $89 as follows:

• Miami (MIA) to Santo Domingo (SDQ) – November 16 – three flights per week
• Philadelphia (PHL) to Santo Domingo (SDQ) – December 17 – three flights per week

Of course, Americans don’t need to leave the country to get warm sunny weather and Frontier has also expanded its domestic service to sunny climes, starting at $39. The new flights for fall and winter are as follows:
