As fall begins the aspen forest turns a beautiful golden yellow that can be seen even as early as late August and continuing through to late September. Meanwhile, the best time to experience fall foliage in New River Gorge National Park is mid-October.

Meanwhile, this beautiful national park nestles off the rocky coast of Maine making it an ideal place to drive along and enjoy all the scenic views. Another way to enjoy the fall foliage here is by hiking or biking the more than 100 miles of trails in Acadia National Park. The best time to visit here is in the middle of October.
