Norwegian Cruise Line returns to Baltimore with two ships
The original announcement was made in September 2022 that Norwegian Sky cruises would start on September 1, 2023. Furthermore, the cruise line’s Norwegian Sun will also sail from Baltimore, starting November 22, 2023.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s choice to deploy two cruise ships to Baltimore isn’t that surprising. The city’s port is centrally located for people in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas. Moreover, cities like Richmond and Philadelphia are within easy driving distance from the port. Meanwhile, Norwegian Cruise Line’s two ships will offer very different itineraries as follows.

Norwegian Sky – Fall Colors cruise
Meanwhile, the Fall Colors cruise will visit some beautiful locations, as follows:
Oak Bluffs, Boston, and Bar Harbor; Halifax and Sydney, Nova Scotia; Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island; Saguenay, Quebec.
The cruise will conclude in Quebec City on September 11.
Norwegian Sun – Caribbean sailings
On November 27, Norwegian Sun will sail from Baltimore to visit:
San Juan, Puerto Rico; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Basseterre, St. Kitts; St. Johns, Antigua; St Thomas, US Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic
before returning to Baltimore on December 9.
Carnival Cruise Line sailing from Baltimore
Meanwhile, a special 14-night cruise is coming in November, heading to the southern Caribbean. Moreover, January will sail on the Panama Canal on a 14-night special cruise. Meanwhile, in April 2024, Carnival Pride will replace Carnival Legend.
