Sailors can look forward to an exciting new river cruise from Abercrombie & Kent, heading out on the Amazon River in Peru in April 2025. This marks the cruise line’s first riverboat in South America. Meanwhile, the launch comes from a collaboration between Abercrombie & Kent and its sister brand, Ecoventura, an expedition yacht operator in the Galapagos Islands. Meanwhile, guests have the option of booking three- or four-night itineraries or can combine them for a seven-night journey on the Amazon River. Along the way, guests will explore the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, while spotting abundant wildlife and spending time engaging with the indigenous communities along the river

What does the new riverboat offer its guests?
Meanwhile, bookings for the new Abercrombie & Kent Peruvian riverboat will be available from June 2024. Guests will have a choice of departure points, including Iquitos or Nauta in Peru. Moreover, guests have the opportunity to combine their Amazon River adventure with an exciting visit to Machu Picchu and other exciting and historic areas of Peru.
As a reminder, the new riverboat will offer 10 double cabins and two single cabins, with floor-to-ceiling windows, keeping the cruises to lower numbers of guests for the perfect experience. Guests will enjoy views as they sail the Amazon River. The launching point at Nauta is in close proximity to Iquitos, where the nearest airport is located.
