Cruising is a competitive market and cruise lines know it, each coming up with great offers for their guests, the latest being Riviera River Cruises. The cruise line has announced new back-to-back itineraries for 2025. These will range from 15 to 29 days and include five new itineraries to allow guests to enjoy two cruises in one without having to change ships. These itineraries will allow guests to enjoy the scenery and cities along the Rhine, Danube and Moselle Rivers. Moreover, Riviera River Cruises will also offer three new cruises for solo travelers, including its first holiday season itineraries.

The cruise line’s new back-to-back itineraries for 2025 include the following:

15-day The Majestic Rhine, Heidelberg & Switzerland River Cruise – with 11 visits and tours
15-day The Rhine, Moselle & Switzerland River Cruise – with 13 visits and tours
18-day Grand Cruise of the Rhine Gorge, Medieval Germany & Switzerland – with 17 visits and tours
18-day Grand Cruise of the Moselle, Rhine, Luxembourg & Switzerland with 18 visits and tours
29-day Grand Cruise Through the Heart of Europe to the Black Sea with 27 visits and tours

Itineraries for solo travelers

As popularity soars for solo travelers, Riviera River Cruises has several offerings, removing the single supplement on more than 500 cabins. This includes four Rhine and Rhone river cruises in August and October as follows:

8-day Rhine, Strasbourg & Heidelberg River Cruise roundtrip from Cologne
8-day Rhine & Moselle River Cruise roundtrip from Cologne
8-day Rhine Cruise to Switzerland between Cologne and Basel
8-day Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence River Cruise between Lyon and Avignon

Meanwhile, Riviera River Cruises typically waives the single supplement on a select number of cabins on Europe river cruises. However, this new promotion takes the offer a step further, according to Marilyn Conroy, Riveira’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for North America who said in a statement:

We know that demand for solo travel is increasing, and removing supplements on these departures will ensure even more travelers can experience the beauty of these waterways.

New solo traveler itineraries from Riviera River Cruises

Among the new solo traveler itineraries are the following:

6-day The Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets itinerary with three visits and tours, available in December 2024 and December 2025
5-day Enchanting Rhine Yuletide Markets itinerary with four visits and tours, available in December 2025
8-day Bruges, Medieval Flanders, Amsterdam & the Dutch Bulbfields itinerary with eight visits and tours, available in April 2025

These include exclusive itineraries for solo travelers with no single supplement, along with themed and holiday season itineraries.
