Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Is Opening Its First Luxury Resort in Spain

Set to open on the beach in San Roque at the end of February, Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol is the ultimate luxury resort. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is about to make its grand entrance into Spain with an eye-watering €130 million ($136,375,850) investment. This first investment in Spain is highly anticipated and will debut at the end of February, and promises to redefine indulgence on the Costa del Sol.

The five-star Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol nestles in the idyllic town of San Roque, a short distance from Sotogrande, and promises spectacular views of the Mediterranean. Moreover, the resort has direct access to Playa La Alcaidesa and an excellent location, just a 30-minute drive from Marbella and a 20-minute drive from Gibraltar Airport. This proximity offers guests the chance to either fly into Malaga’s international airport or the more convenient option in Gibraltar.
