Directions:
1. Begin by trimming the paper straws down to various sizes. You don’t want them to look even but more mismatched.
2. Add a dab of glue to the end of each straw.
3. Press a pom pom to the glue and hold it in place until dry.
4. Now, sculpt your play dough up into a lump. This will be the base of your truffula trees.
5. Press the end of each truffula tree into the dough so it holds it in place.

Your truffula trees can now be displayed! Play with them, use them as a centerpiece, or do this craft as a follow up to the story The Lorax. Either way, it is such a fun way to get into the spirit of Seuss.
