Bring (and use) Hand Sanitizer

It’s a well known fact that hands carry germs, but we use them so much it’s so easy to forget. Stay healthy by being mindful of what you do with your hands and remember to wash them frequently. Clean them before touching your face and before eating to avoid spreading germs you can catch. Carry hand sanitizer with you and get used to applying it regularly to keep your hands free of germs.

Sanitation Wipes

Pack sanitation wipes and don’t be shy about using them. wipe down anything you come into contact with that you feel might result in several hand washings. Good candidates for sanitary wipes are surfaces you touch on the plane or in your hotel room. It’s better to wipe down the course than to constantly clean your hands just because you touched something you aren’t sure about.

Rest

This is a hard one but it’s an essential way to stay healthy. Some vacations are all about relaxation, but at Disney World you are tempted to use yourself. You will probably end up walking a lot more than you expect to and if you are unfamiliar with the parks and the terrain, you will even have a harder time getting around and doing everything you want. You have got to go easy on yourself and plan a trip that makes efficient use of your time. Overworking your body and not getting enough sleep will definitely hurt your chances of surviving the trip without contracting a disease.

Stay Hydrated

Hand in hand with physical exertion is the need to stay hydrated. drink plenty of water while you are out in the parks. You should pack as many bottles of water as you can in your suitcase because the cost of bottles on property add up. It isn’t a stretch to say you can save about a hundred dollars with a weeks worth of water. It may be even more. Even if you have to stop and ask for ice water it’s important not to go thirsty when you are trying to stay healthy.
