Number one on the list is Positano in Italy, which has more than 2.6 million posts on Instagram on the hashtag #Positano. Located on the Amalfi coast in Italy, Positano Beach nestles between cliffs and the blue Mediterranean Sea, with breathtaking views. Meanwhile, the surrounding cliffs make a spectacular backdrop to the beach, with the colored houses, in narrow, winding streets.

2. Cinque Terre Beaches, Italy

The gorgeous Cinque Terre, also in Italy, is next on the list of most Instagrammable beaches. Not far behind Positano, this equally gorgeous location comes up at 25.5 million posts for the hashtag #cinqueterre.

3. Sitges, Spain

The third-most Instagrammed location is Sitges, which is a million behind, as it comes up with 1,592,814 posts on the hashtag #sitges. Located in Spain’s Catalonia region, the beaches of Sitges are backed by the mountainous Parc Natural del Garraf. Moreover, besides its gorgeous Mediterranean beaches, the town’s seafront promenade is lined with attractive grand mansions.
