Viking Announces Three New Itineraries Exploring Canada and Greenland

Viking has announced three brand new summer season expedition voyages to the Arctic, set to debut in July 2025. The exciting itineraries range from 13 to 27 days and take guests to the polar north in Canada and Greenland, with two of the three voyages journeying to the Canadian High Arctic.

The shortest voyage is the 13-day Into the Northwest Passage itinerary. This ship sails roundtrip from Nuuk, Greenland and its stunning destinations include the crystalline waters of the Ilulissat Icefjord as well as the eastern entrance of the famed Northwest Passage in Pond Inlet, Canada.

Guests aboard the 15-day Canada & Greenland Explorer voyage are treated to exquisite scenery and awesome landscapes as they sail between Toronto and Nuuk.

And, for guests wanting an extended trip, there is the opportunity to choose a combination of the two itineraries, the new 27-day Canada & the Northwest Passage voyage.

Torstein Hagen is the Chairman of Viking and he said “Our guests are curious travelers who are eager to explore new and different regions of the world, in Viking comfort. From the time of Leif Eriksson and the original Vikings, Greenland and the Canadian High Arctic have fascinated intrepid explorers. Today, there is no better way to experience this pristine area of the world than from the comfort of our purpose-built expedition ships.”

For guests who don’t want to miss out on this stunning voyage to the Canadian High Arctic, mark your calendar from July through September 2025.

Explore Canada In Comfort

Viking guests can also choose the line’s new Canada & Greenland Explorer itinerary which is 15 days between Toronto, Ontario and Nuuk.
