It’s time for the kids to get excited about a new Minifigure Skyflyer ride coming to LEGOLAND New York this coming summer. This one-of-a-kind, gondola-style ride attraction will offer guests an interactive way to travel between the park’s themed lands. Read on to find out more about this amazing new addition to the theme park and what it offers to the whole family.

Minifigure Skyflyer ride and its Party Pods at LEGOLAND New York

Besides being a great way to move around LEGOLAND New York, the new Minifigure Skyflyer ride will feature seven individually-themed Party Pods. These will include Space, Pirates and Disco pods with in-flight interactive features.

The Space Party Pod will teach guests how to speak in an alien language. Meanwhile, the Pirates Party Pod will teach the kids to talk like pirates and the Disco Party Pod will let them join in a sing-along. Each pod is ADA-accessible and offers comfortable seating for up to 10 guests.To make things even more interesting, prior to boarding, guests can help to “charge” the cable car batteries using hand-powered cranks. Guests can follow a rainbow road while heading to the platform’s disco dance floor, which also features LEGO brick disco ball lights. Meanwhile, they will be greeted by the LEGOLAND New York famous minifigures, who will tell them how they developed the new Minifigure Skyflyer.

Convenience while moving around the park

Stephanie Johnson, the Divisional Director of LEGOLAND New York, made a statement about the new attraction and how it makes things more convenient for guests, saying:

There’s a lot to enjoy at LEGOLAND New York, but it’s a big resort and our fans asked us for more ways to move easily from the upper and lower levels of the park. We take our guests’ feedback seriously and the Minifigure Skyflyer gives them a way to do exactly that while igniting creativity, sparking imagination, and inspiring movement through disco and dance.

Naturally, it will also offer a lot more colorful fun for the whole family along the way!

Meanwhile, through a special partnership between LEGOLAND New York and Belleayre Mountain in the Catskills, potential guests can preview the new Minifigure Skyflyer. They will offer a pair of specially themed ski gondolas from now through April 2024. Watch a preview in the video included in the X/Twitter post below.

Even better, riders can scan a QR code to get exclusive access to “Kids Go Free” tickets with every purchase of an adult ticket.
