Mexico is one of the top destinations for many American travelers, but the US State Department often issues travel advisory levels to help tourists. Meanwhile, it continues to issue the advisories by state, rather than covering the entire country. While admittedly, some states in Mexico are more of a threat to travelers than others, most of the country’s top tourist locations are safe in summer, while using practical common sense. As travelers start planning their summer vacations down south, the following is a travel advisory guide to the most popular locations.
