Norwegian Cruise Line Welcomes First Guests On Its Newest Ship, Norwegian Aqua

Norwegian Cruise Line has officially welcomed the first guests aboard its newest ship, Norwegian Aqua. Before the 3,571-guest cruise ship set sail on her maiden voyage from Lisbon, Portugal, to Southampton, England, the cruise line hosted over 2,000 invited guests onboard the ship as part of its five-part inaugural series.

After Norwegian Aqua enjoyed her inaugural voyage, the cruise ship is set to sail across the Atlantic to Miami. Once there, the ship was christened on April 13, with Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family) as her godfather. From there, Norwegian Aqua will offer Bahamas, Caribbean and Bermuda voyages through March 2027.

Meanwhile, Norwegian Aqua is the first ship in the cruise line’s new Prima Plus Class. As part of this, the vessel offers many amenities and features, including the Aqua Slidecoaster, the Aqua Game Zone, and the Glow Court.

Entertainment and eateries

Norwegian Aqua will also offer its guests a variety of entertainment options and productions, including Revolution: A Celebration of Prince and Elements: The World Expanded. Moreover, guests have a choice of 17 restaurants and 18 bars and lounges. These include Sukhothai, A Thai specialty restaurant, and Planterie, a new plant-based eatery at the Indulge Food Hall.

Meanwhile, Norwegian Cruise Line’s More At Sea package offers added benefits and inclusions, including an unlimited open bar, specialty dining credits, high-speed Wi-Fi, and shore excursion credits. Moreover, will enjoy free airfare and third and fourth guests sail free on select savings

Guests can also choose from a range of accommodations, including solo-traveler staterooms, club balcony suites and The Haven by Norwegian, the cruise line’s ship within a ship concept.

Moreover, Norwegian Aqua will homeport in Miami, the “Cruise Capital of the World,” and Port Canaveral (Orlando) in Florida, as well as New York City. The vessel will offer Bahamas, Caribbean and Bermuda itineraries tailored to every type of traveler until March 2027.
