Julie Zelko was born and raised on The Big Island of Hawaii, which despite its name can feel pretty small sometimes. When she was five and learned to read she found her passion in the written word; however if she wasn’t a writer she would be a Detective because she is convinced she could break anyone in the interrogation room. If you don’t believe her just ask her husband because he may or may not have seen her in action a time or two. By far she considers her best accomplishments her three children who fill her life with both love and endless chaos. There is not much she is completely certain of but she knows with an unwavering certainty that she is going to be one of the mothers who will one day suffer from empty nest syndrome and is preparing accordingly. When she is not writing she prefers to live her life the old fashioned way – offline.
