Restaurant Review: Bibiana Washington DC “Good But Not Great”

My hubby and I Daniel took a trip to Washington DC to celebrate getting pregnant.  When we were there we decided to try Bibiana Restaurant.  We had read reviews that it was one of the best restaurants in Washington so we were excited.  What we found instead was the food was okay, but by far not the best food we have ever had.

I ordered the Beet salad and Beef Cheeks. The portions were not very big and would not fill up the average person. I also had dessert. Everything was good, but not amazing.

The service was good, but somehow forced. The waiter was not very friendly and very formal and had a lot of attitude we could have done without. He didn’t have much of a personality.  Surprisingly, he did not even want to give us any recommendations about food and drink.  He did even want to explain the menu.

It is not a bad restaurant, but I probably won’t go back.   In my opinion a good restaurant has to have great food, great service and helpful, friendly serving staff which Bibiana.  If you are in Washington DC there are many better restaurants to choose from.
