Hotels With The Best Toiletries

Admit it, one of the first things you do when you get to your hotel room is check out the toiletries. Guests used to find generic soaps, lotions and mini shampoos emblazoned with the chain logo in less exclusive digs. Thankfully, hotels have taken notice of patrons’ appreciation of the complimentary upscale beauty products.

Brands have also discovered offering TSA-friendly samples are a great way to reach new customers. It’s a beautiful partnership where everybody wins. These are just a few favorites…

The Peninsula Hotels

Oscar de la Renta may have his own hotel in the Dominican Republic, but The Peninsula Hotels have his bath amenities. Guests can indulge in the designer shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, soap and unisex fragrance. The musk is a blend of citrus and aromatic florals with notes of mandarin and bergamot, cardamom, freesia, jasmine, violet, and white and green tea.

Hilton Hotels

Nearly 500 properties in 78 countries are outfitted with Peter Thomas Roth’s vitamin-packed Mega-Rich collection. Guests will find shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and body wash, along with the Moisture Infusion Facial Bar and Massage Body Bar. All are rich and luxurious toiletries that will turn you in lifelong fan. You can find these goodies at Sephora or Hilton’s website.

Renaissance Hotels

I adore everything about Aveda. The products are superior to anything I have experienced. They incredibly luxurious plant-based products, and (more importantly) keep a strong respect for the earth in mind. That is why hotels who want to carry the well-being beauty products must go through a process. Hotels must complete a application that includes three pages of environmental analysis. The recycling and ecological policies of the applying boutique-style hotel are also investigated. The bare minimum acceptable factors include a $200/night minimum and a property rating of at least four-stars. Chains need not apply. Aveda’s ingredients come from small farms and will not supply the mass demands.

Morgans Hotel Group

If you have stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, you will fondly recall Malin+Goetz products. The Morgans Hotel Group is the only chain that carries brand in all of their properties. The line is paraben-free, contains no synthetic perfumes or dyes and locally sourced whenever possible.

Gramercy Park Hotel

This Manhattan location was originally decked out with an assortment of goodies from Allure magazine editors, but the hotel is now carrying Aesop skincare products. The offerings branch out from the typical, body lotion, shampoo and bar of soap. Guests experience the line’s Rind Concentrate Body Balm, Body Cleansing Soap Slab and Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser.

W Hotels

The trendy chain carries Bliss beauty products and several locations have spas that use the line in their treatments. You will find Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash, Lemon+Sage Soapy Suds, Lemon+Sage Body Butter, Lemon+Sage Supershine Shampoo, Lemon+Sage Conditioning Rinse, and a Lemon+Sage Body Bar waiting for you in your room.
