Super Bowl XLIX 2015 Tickets, Hotels and Packages

Super Bowl XLIX 2015

This year’s Super Bowl will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The playoffs are still underway, but time is running out to score Super Bowl XLIX 2015 tickets, hotels and packages. February 1st, 2015 will be here before you can say 2 point conversion, so if you are planning on attending one of the biggest NFL games of the year – BOOK NOW.

Super Bowl XLIX 2015 Tickets

Ticket costs are comparative to last year’s prices. The 2014 Super Bowl saw an average ticket going for $3,375. Currently, the cheapest seats available on Stub Hub for Super Bowl XLIX are $2,321.75 for the upper end zone seats. You can take a chance to try and score cheaper tickets in the days leading up to the game, but chances are you’ll find singular seats in the nosebleeds.

The one remaining price fact that will impact upcoming price-points are the two teams who make it to the Super Bowl. The more popular the teams – the higher the price hikes. Predictions state that if the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, and/or the Green Bay Packers make it, you’ll see prices increase. Pittsburgh and Green Bay fans tend to be willing to travel, but watch out for the Dallas Cowboys. The team hasn’t made it to the Super Bowl since 1996, and any return will send prices soaring.

You could make a case for the Arizona Cardinals, but the smaller market needs to be factored in. However, they would be the first team to “host” the Super Bowl and location plays a huge role.

Super Bowl XLIX 2015 Accommodations

If you are looking for upscale accommodations for the game, you might be out of luck. The hotels with a rating of three stars and up began filling up before tickets even went on sale. However, hotels with a lower rating are steadily running low on rooms. At time of publication, hotels similar to Best Western and Comfort Inn are running around $270-$300 for the night of the Super Bowl.

The smart way to save money on Super Bowl accommodations is through Airbnb. Currently, you can score a 1 bedroom home with a private pool for $150 for the night. Need more space? You can get a two-bedroom condo with a private pool, 3-D TV, and an espresso maker for $385.
