Viking Announces Its History Making 2023-2024 138-Day Parallel World CruisesTravel news reveals that Viking® has just announced its new 2023-2024 Viking World Cruise. The epic adventure is set to last an amazing 138 days, taking travelers to 28 countries and 57 ports. Along the way there will be nearly two dozen overnight city stays.

Viking’s 2021 and 2022 World Cruises sold out in record time and now the cruise line will offer a choice of two departure dates for the next World Cruise. Interested travelers can choice between Viking Sky®, which will depart on December 20, 2023, from Ft. Lauderdale, or Viking Neptune®, which departs Ft. Lauderdale on December 23, 2023. If you can’t make up your mind, just know that both ships sail the exact itinerary in parallel.

Viking Makes Stunning Announcement

Guests on the 2023-2024 Viking World Cruise will set sail for Central America, then travel the Panama Canal before visiting the West Coast of North America. If 138 days is too long to be away from home, the cruise line is offering a 121-day Viking World Journeys itinerary.

The 121 day cruise boards in Los Angeles and sets sail across the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand. Next the ship sails to Asia and the Middle East. On the final leg, travelers experience the Mediterranean before ending the voyage in London.

Our previous World Cruises sold out in a matter of weeks, and we are now seeing more interest in these extended voyages than ever before.”

Viking’s World Cruise for 2023-2024 includes overnight stays in 11 ports including Sydney, Haifa, Istanbul, Auckland, Bali, Ho Chi Minh, Yangon, and Mumbai. The Viking Resident Historian® program offers guests historical and cultural lectures specific to their journey.

Viking World Cruise Highlights

Along the way guests will experience the cultural diversity of Singapore while having the chance to tour Mumbai over two nights. In Istanbul, Turkey a cultural feast is on tap in the city, “Where East Meets West.”

The epic jaunt concludes in London on the Thames River. Passengers have convenient access to the capital’s most famed locales including the Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
