American Cruise Lines launches San Francisco Bay voyage
American Cruise Lines already offers “simple sophisticated travel,” cruising the Mississippi River, Columbia and Snake Rivers and destinations in New England. However, they are adding one more beautiful cruising option.
According to the cruise line, the new, eight-day San Francisco Bay voyage will cruise the bay, passing the Golden Gate Bridge, Treasure Island and Alcatraz. However, in the round-trip voyage, stops will be enjoyed in Napa, Vallejo, Stockton and Sacramento. Passengers will also cruise the Napa River, San Pablo Bay and San Joaquin River during their voyage. It is literally the ultimate San Francisco tour out on the water.

In the media release for the San Francisco cruise offering, American President Charles B. Robertson said:
American continues to expand the possibilities for exceptional domestic small ship cruises across the country.
Exploring this beautiful region of Northern California by riverboat will provide a new opportunity for our guests to discover the Bay Area and the Napa Valley in an exceptional way… many have driven there, but not many can say they have actually cruised through wine country.
