On certain Windstar Cruises itineraries in 2024, the cruise line is introducing special wine experiences. Select guests will have the chance to sip rare and small-batch wines while sailing to destinations like Iceland, Portugal and Tahiti. This is a wonderful experience for those guests who particularly like sampling great wines while traveling to paradise.

Windstar to offer new wine experiences in 2024

Windstar Cruises is a small ship cruise line that will feature a curated selection of award-winning and rare wines on five cruises in 2024. Moreover, guests will have the opportunity to sip wines that are typically only available at the wineries, or to wine club members.

Windstar in partnership with several West Coast wineries and a US importer/exporter to offer exclusive wine-tasting seminars during the cruises. Meanwhile, other wine cruises will also overlap James Beard Foundation sailings. On these sailings, guests can also experience a chef-hosted dinner with wine pairings. They will also enjoy cooking demonstrations and a chef-led market tour.

Speaking in a statement, Peter Tobler, Windstar’s Director of Hotel Operations said:

We’ll be bringing a bit of wine country on board as a special experience for our guests. These are small production wineries, and our guests will be able to taste wines that aren’t available anywhere else except at the winery where they were produced.
