In keeping with our commitment to offer experiences for The Thinking Person, we are pleased to unveil this special voyage that commemorates the 80th Anniversary of D-Day—one of the most significant milestones in modern history.”

Viking Longships on the Seine River host 168 guests in 84 staterooms. The ships are designed to navigate into the very heart of Paris, and dock at Viking’s exclusive space at Port de Grenelle (a short walk from the Eiffel Tower). Additionally, the vessels have a hybrid propulsion system with batteries to reduce reliance on fuel while in port; onboard solar panels further contribute to the ships’ energy efficiency.

All Longships feature an Aquavit Terrace and a plethora of stateroom options, plus display Viking’s signature Scandinavian design aesthetic.

The year 2023 has been historic for Viking in more ways than one. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the company enjoyed its most successful January in terms of record bookings. With Europe a popular destination, and in response to strong demand for its cruises, Viking is pleased to announce that 2025 river voyages in Europe are now available for booking.
