United Airlines Launches New Flights To Exciting Asian Destinations
United Airlines launches flights to four Asian locations
The airline’s last major announcement was the largest South Pacific expansion ever in aviation. However, adding Australia and New Zealand to their itineraries was just the beginning. Moreover, one of the new Asian routes is the first of its kind.
This makes United the first US airline to fly direct to Manila from mainland USA. Even better, the new flight will see passengers taking off daily on a Boeing 777-300ER, the largest plane in United’s fleet. When the new route launches, United will be the only US airline flying nonstop to the Philippines.
While the flight is only available from San Francisco, this is an easy city to reach because the only alternative flight to Manila with United would be from Palau or Guam.
New flights from Los Angeles to Hong Kong
Daily flights from Los Angeles to Hong Kong will be offered on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Moreover, this means United will offer three combined flights to Hong Kong from both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
United Airlines launches more flights to Tokyo
Currently, the airline flies from Los Angeles to Tokyo/Haneda (HND) and will continue. However, the new flight will head to Tokyo/Narita (NRT), which offers travelers the option to choose which airport is more convenient for them.
More United flights to Taipei
All the new Asia routes are currently on sale on United Airlines’ website and app.
