Costa Cruises Reveals New Ship-To-Shore Family-Friendly Program
Costa Cruises announces new family-friendly options for Western Mediterranean
Taking an exciting cruise with the family just got better, as the Italian cruise line Costa Cruises announced its new family-friendly, ship-to-shore program. It offers activities for two age groups, three- to 13-year-olds and 14- to 17-year-olds
The themed entertainment program will be available to entertain guests, starting this summer. Offering both onshore and onboard experiences and activities, the program has been designed especially for younger guests and their families.
Where will the new excursion activities be available?
The pre-and post-excursion activities will be curated by the team of animators of the Squok Club and the Teens Club. Moreover, the options will be available at port stops in Caligliari, Civitavecchia, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and Savona in Italy. Meanwhile, when sailing to Spain, the new program will be available in Barcelona and Valencia, and Marseille in France.
Moreover, the Costa Toscana and Costa Smeralda cruises will both feature a dedicated day when mascot Squok guides the family through all the experiences, culminating with an evening show at the Colosseo.
‘Families are a key target group’
Families are a key target group for our offer; in particular, the summer months and itineraries in the Western Mediterranean are among the most popular with families.
Thanks to our new proposals, the excursions will become true experiences tailor-made for them, suitable for different age groups, which will have a strong connection with the entertainment activities onboard, so as to create a themed itinerary that will accompany our youngest guests and their families throughout the day, providing unforgettable emotions.
