After its dry dock refit, Carnival Venezia is set to depart on a 15-day transatlantic sailing from Barcelona to New York on May 29, 2023. Moreover, the cruise ship will offer year-round sailings from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York from June 15, 2023. The various cruise options will include 22 new itineraries while calling at 25 ports in 14 countries.

Carnival Venezia was built in 2019 and can accommodate around 5,000 guests and 1,400 cruise members. The ship’s beautiful atrium was inspired by Venice’s magnificent Piazza San Marco. Meanwhile, the Lido deck was inspired by various aspects of the Italian Riviera.

Wining and dining on Carnival Venezia

Dining options on the new Carnival ship will focus on Italian flavors, offering La Strada Grill, which will serve classic Italian street food. Meanwhile, other dining options include Tomororo, a Mexitalian fusion restaurant.

Regular Carnival guests will appreciate the cruise line’s favorite options, including Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Guy’s Burger Joint and Bonsai Sushi & Teppanyaki. In a nod to the ship’s Italian influence, Guy’s will add a pepperoni burger to its menu.

As for bar options, guests will enjoy visiting Amari and Frizzante, as well as the Carnevale Bar and Lounge, and the Gondola Lounge, plus new entertainment activities, including the Italian Street Party.

For the youngsters, Carnival Venezia will offer Italian-inspired programming for the little ones and teens. Meanwhile, for youths, the cruise ship will feature Camp Ocean and Club O2. Also, the ship’s Sport Square will offer favorites like foosball and bocce ball.

New staterooms

Following its refit, the Carnival Venezia will offer a new class of stateroom. Meanwhile, Terrazza staterooms will be similar to the existing Havana staterooms offered on some of the cruise line’s ships. The staterooms will offer a range of categories, including interior to balcony.

The cruise ship’s 77 Terrazza Cabanas will offer guests private patios with direct access to Terrazza Carnevale. This outdoor, terraced deck features a bar, lounging spaces and two whirlpools. Meanwhile, the cabanas come with other perks, including the exclusive sail-away party with live music.
