Soho Grand Hotel NYC

I stayed at the Soho Grand at 310 West Broadway, New York City, NY 10013 in December 2012 for a mother-daughter vacation. I love Soho. I have stayed at the 60 Thompson and the Mercer Hotel which are all upscale Soho hotels. I would rate the Soho Grand in the middle of the two other hotels.

The decor of the lower and upper lobby is very nice. The staff are also extremely nice and accommodating.

However, in my opinion the room left a lot to be desired (especially for the price). The room was small and needed re-modelling.  It was very dark.  The windows were not sound proofed. The safe was also too small to fit a laptop in.

I would return to the hotel if I got a cheaper rate, but for $500 dollars a night I will pay $20 more and stay at the Mercer.
