Disney has unveiled their latest dedication to Elsa and Anna; a ‘Frozen’ themed airplane. The aircraft was customized in conjunction with WestJet featuring the Norwegian princesses and their pal, Olaf.

The Boeing 737 features an extensive and detailed paint job that will catch the eye of every ‘Frozen’ fan. The exterior of the plane was painted by a Disney crew working 12 hour shifts over the course of 21 days. The image of Elsa creating ice and snowflakes with her sister, Anna, starts at the tail of the plane. Olaf, lounging on a sandy beach, sits on the front of the plane where passengers will board.

Inside, the seats bear a frozen snowflake on the back of the headrests. The cabin and overhead bins are decorated with a snowy theme that shifts to warmer tones as you move to the rear of the plane. So far, the ‘Frozen’ themed plane will offer 737 routes for those who want to fly Air Elsa some place other than Orlando.

WestJet described the decor and paint job dedicated to ‘Frozen’ on their website…

“On the tail of our aircraft, sisters Anna and Elsa celebrate sisterhood and the magic of snow. From the aircraft tail along the fuselage, the magic travels to warm the front of the aircraft where Olaf can be found enjoying a summer day on the beach. In the Disney film ‘Frozen,’ Olaf dreams of going someplace warm, and now we’ll be taking him to the sunshine with us.”

Reviews are mixed. While the pleasing paint and theme of the plane is welcomed, wary passengers fear the craft will be packed with children who are often a challenge when flying. No other upgrades like wider seats, discounts on baggage, or comfort incentives were mentioned in initial reports…but they did add sparkles to the paint so it will shimmer in the sun.
