Enter The Canada Day Team Up For Chicken Contest #TeamCdnChicken

Who doesn’t love chicken? My family has chicken for dinner nearly every other night of the week and they never complain – of course the fact that I get my recipes from Chicken Farmers Of Canada’s official Facebook page could be why. And, with summer right around the corner and of course Canada Day on July 1st, chicken barbeque season is officially here!

When I was asked to Team Up for Chicken and join the #TeamCdnChicken campaign I couldn’t wait to share their amazing contest with our readers. Right now you could win a trip for 4 to the amazing city of Ottawa on the Chicken Farmers of Canada Facebook page. And, it’s so easy! Literally all you have to do is vote for your favorite chicken recipe on their page (I highly recommend the “Royal Gala Chicken Sandwich”), provide a brief statement about why you chose that recipe, and then you will be entered in to the drawing. Seriously, how could you turn down a free trip to Ottawa for you and your family – for Canada Day no less! You can enter the contest right here.

Canada Day is just a few months away – and Ottawa is the perfect city to celebrate it for you and your family, or three friends of your choice. Canada’s Capital Region is the perfect place to celebrate our country’s birthday – on July 1st the city is full of festivals and patriotic events for every one of all ages. And, the fireworks show is to die for!

The Team Up For Canadian Chicken contest kicks off on April 24th and ends on May 29th. After you vote for your favorite recipe on the Chicken Farmer’s of Canada Facebook page – you will be entered in to a drawing to win one of three amazing prize packages. The prize packages include:

First Prize – 3 day, 2 night trip for four to Ottawa to celebrate Canada Day with Chicken Farmers of Canada, Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $500 food bank donation (approximate value up to $4,300 depending on winner’s location).

Second Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $250 food bank donation (approximate value $425).

Third Prize – Chicken Farmers of Canada prize pack, Maple Leaf Foods prize pack and $100 food bank donation (approximate value $225).

I absolutely love that Chicken Farmers of Canada is giving away donations to a food bank of your choice as part of their prize packs. How awesome is that by taking ten seconds out of your day to vote for a chicken recipe – you could be putting food on a needy family in your community’s table?
