New Disney Cirque du Soleil Show ‘Drawn to Life’ Debuts Fall 2020 At Disney Springs
Disney news reveals that a brand new Cirque du Soleil adventure, Drawn to Life, is set to replace La Nouba in Disney Springs.

Brand New Cirque du Soleil Show Debuts This Fall at Disney Springs
Lamarre said, “It’s a tribute to Disney animation, and we felt honored to have the opportunity to do a show with the IP (intellectual property) of Disney. We should be able to open sometime in the fall.”
Fall 2021 is shaping up to be a tremendously exciting time at Walt Disney World® Resort! The 50th Anniversary celebration of Magic Kingdom® Theme Park is planned to kick off October 1, 2021.
Drawn to Life replaces La Nouba which was the original Cirque du Soleil show on Disney property. It is time for an overhaul as this particular show ran for nearly two decades from 1998 to 2017.

The magical show had its own theatre in Disney Springs that resembled a white tent. So, what is Drawn to Life about? Let’s preview this fantastic upcoming event with plenty of details to make you mesmerized.
In short the new offering is about the love between a father and a daughter. Can you imagine the wonderful, out of this world combo of Cirque du Soleil acrobatic mastery paired with the magic of Disney animation? Fans can look forward to this and more as the new show comes to life before their eyes.
The main character is named Julie, and she is described as a courageous and determined young girl. Her father is named Tom and it just so happens that once upon a time he was a Disney animator.
Tom raised Julie in a wonderful atmosphere filled with animated Disney characters who helped her grow up and played key roles in her life.
What Is Drawn to Life About?
When Julie finds an unfinished animation piece and a letter from her late father her imagination is sparked to life and she begins a magical journey through the fantastic world of animation where she meets characters including Mr. Pencil (her father’s favorite pencil), who accompany her.
Of course it would not be Disney without a villain and here it is Miss Hésitation who mirrors Julie’s doubts of herself as an artist.
