Carnival Cruise Line recently made an announcement that it will add delicious, alcohol-free alternatives to its most popular cocktails. Almost all of the line’s cruise ships, sailing from the US offers Carnival’s popular Alchemy Bar. From now on, this is where passengers will now be able to enjoy an excellent cocktail or two without the morning-after hangover.

Carnival’s Alchemy Bar is found on most of the line’s ships failing from the US and now serves non-alcoholic spirits. The alcohol-free spirits are sourced from the industry-leading distiller, Lyre’s. In fact, this move makes it the first cruise line in the industry to offer a full, alcohol-free range of cocktails.

Zachary Sulkes, Carnival’s senior director of beverage operations said in a statement:

Our new partnership with Lyre’s gives guests who want non-alcoholic cocktails the best options at sea.

Meanwhile, the cruise line also made an announcement on Twitter, writing, “Introducing @LyresSpiritCo, your best friend on the days you want to drink, without the hangover. Now available to order at Alchemy Bar fleetwide. #CarnivalCruise #ChooseFun.”

Apparently, seven of the Alchemy Bar’s most popular cocktails have been given a non-alcoholic twist. In fact these include Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini, Martini Seduction, Hearts of Fire, The Remedy, The Perfect Storm, Cucumber Sunrise and Restorative Basil Drop.

Reportedly, the cocktails will have the same great taste, but without the kick and the morning-after headache.

Sulkes explained that the cruise line has seen the popularity of non-alcoholic cocktails grow rapidly. For that reason, their expert mixologists have been working to craft alternative versions of the most popular onboard cocktails, without the alcohol, but with all the flavor. Moreover, the full range of alcohol-free cocktails will be available at Alchemy Bar on all related cruise ships across the fleet.

For those who have yet to visit Alchemy Bar on Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet, it is described as a place for passengers to get some “cocktail therapy.” In fact, the cocktail bar features a pharmacy theme while serving mixed drinks. Each offers creative ingredients for guests who enjoy a unique cocktail experience.

Passengers with the Cheers package have access to all beer, spirits, wine by the glass and cocktails under $20. Meanwhile, the majority of the drinks are under the $20 limit, including those from Alchemy Bar. However, there is a catch, as you are limited to 15 of these under $20 drinks per day.
