The newly formed Rail & Sail program offers speedy, seamless access for guests sailing with Princess Cruises from two major Florida ports, namely Orlando and Fort Lauderdale. By using the service, guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a streamlined journey in comfort and convenience, while also significantly reducing travel time when compared to conventional methods.

To launch the new Rail & Sail program, Brightline debuted a customized train with four cars, each labeled with Princess Cruises’ iconic Love Boat branding. The branding includes the cruise line’s signature Seawitch logo with illustrations of the ports of call. Moreover, the new branding is also displayed in Brightline’s five terminals across Florida.

Meanwhile, besides streamlining passengers’ journeys to the ports, the program also offers guests a value-added baggage express service. Once again, this ensures that passengers can enjoy the ultimate in convenience.

Passengers will check their baggage at the Brightline station and once they board their ship, will find their baggage securely delivered to their stateroom. Moreover, the new convenient service saves passengers valuable time, while allowing them to focus on fully enjoying their cruise experience.

Discounts enjoyed with the program

According to the press release, guests sailing with Princess Cruises can also enjoy special discounts of up to 15 percent when booking Smart and Premium Rail & Sail packages through Brightline’s website. Moreover, for a limited time, those booking a Princess cruise through May 5 will enjoy a Brightline credit of up to $150 per person (based on the stateroom type) to cover their rail journey.

Speaking of the new partnership, John Padgett, President of Princess Cruises said:

A Princess cruise is already the best value in travel, and this new partnership with Brightline makes it even easier and more enjoyable to sail with us from the top-rated ports in South and Central Florida.

Our guests can just sit back, relax, and let us do the rest, including delivering their luggage directly to their stateroom.

Meanwhile, Patrick Goddard, President of Brightline also spoke of the exciting partnership, saying:

Brightline has been connecting travelers to South Florida ports since we began operations in 2018 and cruisers from the beginning have found our train to be the easiest way to start their vacation.

Today’s partnership with Princess Cruises and this train wrap with the iconic Love Boat branding is yet another example of the connection between cruisers and Brightline.
