The app was created with the view of helping cure the travel bug for those who cannot leave home right now. It brings cheer to everyone, with beautiful images and walk-throughs in many cities, backed by ambient sounds
Users add the extension on to their browser to experience wonderful scenes submitted by other users. Virtually experience other people’s lives as they explore their city, with all the ambient sounds and twinkling lights. However, this isn’t just for Christmas.
Virtually Visit Your Destination Before Booking
Besides the glorious Christmas scenes, the app allows you to experience hiking trips from around the world. By clicking on a new tab, you can see the views from hotels, restaurants and bars in your desired destination. The content is made up of images and videos taken by users on the ground, or by drone, and virtual tours are available.
It isn’t just about pretty images, however. Once travel is “normalized” again, Tab With A View will offer you destinations to discover on future trips, along with real-time flight information, as well as visa requirements based on the user’s nationality. Tab With a View was created by Rahul Sharma. Speaking of his creation, Sharma said that like the majority of us, he also loves traveling around the world. However, unfortunately COVID-19 has pretty much brought the world to a standstill.
Rahul said he created Tab With A View to allow people from around the world to experience that beautiful world virtually, without leaving home and right from their browsers. Sharma said he genuinely believes that during these difficult times, especially for those yearning to travel, the new app will give anyone stuck at home something exciting to explore. He said this is especially so for those who have had to cancel their travel plans and will be away from family and friends this Christmas holiday.
