Holland America Line has just the cruise for any travelers with a yen to head Down Under to Australia and to New Zealand. The cruise line has opened bookings for a range of 14-day itineraries in 2025-26 on their ship Noordam. Meanwhile, all the voyages are either offered roundtrip from Sydney or transit between Sydney and Auckland. The  14-day Australia and New Zealand itineraries offer guests an easy way to journey between the two countries, visiting the best locales in the region. While onboard Noordam, they will also enjoy Holland America Line’s award-winning service and authentic programming.

The announcement was made by Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Commercial Officer for Holland America Line. Bodensteiner said:

Australia and New Zealand are excellent options for cruisers looking for global destinations, iconic cities and wild wonders. We craft our cruises to showcase the best of each region.

With these voyages, guests can immerse themselves in New Zealand in a port-intensive itinerary that also features scenic cruising through Milford Sound, or they can see wildlife like penguins and kangaroos while exploring South Australia.

About the 14-day itineraries on Noordam

Holland America Line is offering a selection of 14-day itineraries aboard its cruise ship Noordam between November 2025 and March 2026. Guests have a choice of either sailing roundtrip from Sydney or transit between Sydney and Auckland.

According to the press release, for those guests looking for a longer cruise, the cruise line also offers a “Collectors Voyage.” This option brings together several non-repeating itineraries to keep guests happy onboard for 28 to 50 days total. These voyages combine the two-week cruise with an epic Legendary Voyage to the South Pacific. Meanwhile, the combination makes for an up to 50-day voyage across multiple cruising regions.

‘New Zealand Discovery’ and ‘Australia and New Zealand’ trips

One of the highlights of the sailing season from Holland America Line is its “New Zealand Discovery” cruise. This cruise takes guests to all New Zealand ports, including Gisborne, Waitangi and Wellington. Meanwhile, the “Australia and New Zealand” trip includes some exciting port calls in Australia, Tasmania and New Zealand.

During the cruise, guests will be served fresh fish and other local fare from Australia, including Sydney rock oysters. This is thanks to the cruise line’s global fresh fish program. However, they will also get to dine on the famous Tasmanian meat pies.

As if the new cruise itineraries aren’t enough, Holland America Line offers a special option for guests who book select 2025-26 Australia and New Zealand cruises.
